what does the monthly tuition cover?

Monthly tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. Tuition covers so much more than a weekly lesson!

  • Studio events, including recitals, theory parties, celebrations, and more
  • Special music and supplies, including maintaining student lending library
  • Time spent in lessons, as well as lesson preparation (lesson planning, curriculum development, etc.)
  • Studio Technology
  • Student incentives, prizes, and awards ~ the Magic Music Chest!
  • Continuing education and teacher training
  • Other studio expenses & maintenance (WIFI, photocopies, instrument maintenance, repairs, etc.)
  • Insurance and taxes

what happens if I need to miss a lesson?

  • Students are allowed to swap time slots with another student if needed.
  • Much like dance, sports, and many other monthly activities, there are no refunds for student absences.

what do I need to do at home?

For piano students, it is recommended that you have a keyboard or piano for your child to practice on at home. A 61-key keyboard with touch-sensitive keys would be the ideal entry-level instrument.

All other instrumental students must have a functioning instrument and music stand, for practice.

Voice students need access to a keyboard, music stand, mirror and music playing device.

Ask your teacher for more information.
