It’s RECITAL month! I am so excited to hear all of our students
Selah Spring Recital

Recital Details
Your student should dress up for this event. No Crocs or sweats, please. A simple Sunday dress or button-up shirt is great. Students should bring their book or binder with their recital piece to have just in case. However, songs should be memorized if possible.
Please see the RECITAL list for what time your student has been placed. Students will need to arrive 40 minutes before the beginning time.
Doors will open for guests 15 minutes before the beginning time. We will not have refreshments afterwards but we encourage you to take your student out for a reward as a family. Please invite your grandparents, extended family, etc. The recital will last approximately 1.5 hours. You are welcome to video your child’s performance and take pictures after the recital.
Summer Planning
The Portal has been updated with our summer schedule. Teacher vacations have been added, a group lesson, and our end-of-summer Ice Cream Social too! You can go in and cancel lessons and pick up lessons as needed. As you know we are a year-round studio.
We value continued muscle movement, engaging lessons, and creating stability for our teachers. We understand sometimes music lessons do not last forever and changes need to be made. We consider it a privilege to work with our Selah families for as long as we can. Please remember we require a 30-day notice if you choose to discontinue lessons.
As always, a chat during your lesson time can help to clarify things. So, pop in over the next week or so and chat with your teacher or shoot me an email. If you decide to break for summer, you may not get back on our schedule for the fall (insert very sad face 😞). Our summer term begins June 3. You can find this info in our policies on the website too.
